STRUTHERS
Ashley Baron struck out 10 and also homered as Struthers handed Niles (9-1) its first loss. Hanna Dubec, Sami Basista and Mandy Ditman had two hits for the Wildcats (8-3). For Niles, Lindsay Bates homered, while Megan McDermott, Lindsey Dodgson, Aubrey Hale and Olivia Devorich had two hits apiece.
Poland 12, Hubbard 4
POLAND
Jenna Modic had four hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs to lead Poland (6-1). Jordan Palumbo, Jessica D’Apolito, Emily Chandler and Nicole White all added two hits. One of Chandler’s hits was a double, and D’Apolito had three RBIs. Erin Gabriel (4-0) and Modic combined for 16 strikeouts. Ashley Bone’s double was one of five hits for Hubbard (3-8).

Sarah Vrabel went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Brina Sturgeon went 3-for-4 to lead Canfield (4-3, 2-1 AAC Red). Sturgeon (1-1) pitched five innings and Vrabel two as the two combined on a one-hitter.
Lakeview 5, Howland 4
HOWLAND
Alexis Neumeister had two hits, walked twice and scored a run for Lakeview (4-3), which took a 4-0 lead then held on. Lexi George added two hits, including a double, and Raelynn Burns had two hits and two RBIs. Olivia Nicholas had three hits and two RBIs for Howland (3-6), which had runners on first and second with two outs in the seventh before popping out. Melanie Cope added three hits and Amanda Deliquila had two RBIs.

Freshman Jessica Buck (5-2) tossed a six-inning no-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk to lead LaBrae (5-4, 1-0 AAC Blue). The walk came in the third inning. Lindsey Mooney had three doubles and two RBIs, Kelsie Daniel doubled twice, Laura Hall had two hits and Alexis Witherow had two RBIs for the Vikings. Brookfield is 1-7, 0-1.
Beaver Local 2, Liberty 1
LIBERTY
Laine Frampton had a single and double and Sam Cianni had two singles for Beaver Local. With the game tied, 1-1, Frampton’s double scored the go-ahead run in the top of the fourth. With junior Julie Mikulich on base, senior Alison House doubled to score Liberty’s run in the first inning. The Leopards are 2-4, 0-1 AAC White.

Freshman Angela Penza (2-0) pitched three perfect innings and also had two hits. Chrissy Porter doubled, homered and drove in two. Christina Hrehor singled, doubled and drove in two and Macy Ucchino scored three runs.

NEWTON FALLS
Senior Morgan White (3-0) had 10 strikeouts and walked two during a seven-inning three-hitter for the Golden Flashes (5-0, 0-1 AAC Blue). Sophomore Haley McAllister knocked in two runs while freshman Darian Rogers had three singles for Champion. Bailey Shade, Lauren Walker and Taylor Martin had a single apiece for Newton Falls (0-8). Shade scored Martin in the fifth for an RBI.

Karly Pence tossed a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk and also had three hits for East Palestine (8-1, 5-0 ITCL Tier One). Carly Blair, Emily Stewart and Harley Huston each added three hits and Logan Gatchel had two hits with an RBI. Crestview is 1-6, 0-5.

Heather Monoski had a triple and five RBIs for the Blue Devils (7-2, 5-0 ITCL). Chelsea Bogden had a double and two RBIs, while Maggie Stubbs and Cassie Burchett each knocked in two runs. Ashlee Grim (4-2) struck out five and gave up two walks.

Kim Taylor hit a two-run triple to highlight a three-run eighth inning for the Tigers (4-4, 4-2). With the Rams (0-6, 0-6) leading 2-0 after five innings of play, Ashley Davis tied it with a two-run homer for the Tigers.

Brittany Schnarrs (4-1) tossed a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts and three walks for Mathews (7-1, 2-0 NAC). Stephanie Durig had two hits and Jessica Marsico two RBIs.

Kayla Williams (5-1) had 12 strikeouts during a three-hitter and Tori Sigwerth had two singles and an RBI for the Pirates (6-1, 2-1). Also for Southeast, Kayla Carson had a single and double and Tricia Williams had two singles. Maddi Klemp had two of Coventry’s three hits.
