CANFIELD CITY

April 4

Warrant: Police arrested Scott C. Harker, 24, 5616 Youngstown-Warren Road, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

April 5

Theft: Used cooking grease was reported missing from an outside grease-storage container behind Arby’s, 13 Talisman Drive. The restaurant is reimbursed for the old grease by a disposal company that picks it up, and the container was found to be half-full Thursday and empty Friday, but the collection company had not come to get it.

Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested Michael P. Pedro, 32, 1322 N. Palmyra Road, North Jackson, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on U.S. Route 224.

AUSTINTOWN

April 5

Theft: Games, glasses and miscellaneous paperwork were stolen from an auto at a home in the 200 block of Third Street.

Theft: A steel token was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Hendricks Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Badger,30, 13731 State Highway 18, Conneaut Lake, Pa., on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment and also issued him a summons for drug abuse of marijuana on Westchester Drive.

April 6

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel R. Farrah, 49, 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, Canfield on two felony warrants on passing bad checks.

Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 2000 block of N. Navarre Ave.

Recovered stolen property: A semi tractor-trailer was recovered at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

April 7

Theft: Prescription medication was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Staatz Drive.

Criminal damaging: Two windows were damaged by rocks at Woodside Elementary School, Elmwood Avenue.

Recovered property: A wallet and identification were recovered at Aldi’s, 5683 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Elijah Jackson, 25, 1486 Woodcrest Drive, Youngstown, on a warrant alleging assault and criminal damaging.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in an incident of road rage in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.

April 8

Burglary: A television, Xbox and $1,500 in cash were stolen from a home in the 80 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Attempted breaking and entering: A rock was thrown through a glass door at the Meating Place, 4282 New Road.

Criminal damaging: A rear window of a vehicle was smashed out with a large rock at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Counterfeit currency: Six $5 bills were passed at Conroy’s Express, 3670 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal mischief: A vehicle alarm system was tampered with at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Theft: A credit card was reported stolen after it had been used to purchase two $1,500 gift cards at the Austintown Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. The owner, a resident of the 10 block of Crabwood Court, was also contacted by Hermitage, Pa., police that the gift cards had been redeemed at the Wal-Mart there.

Theft: Jewelry was given to a customer in error. Only a partial amount was returned at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

April 9

Drug Offense/Warrants: Police arrested two men on warrants and a drug charge in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard. Michael Hover, Jr., 19, 1854 Paisley St., Apt. 10, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant on a theft charge and was charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument, a syringe. Michael Pendland, 22, 2611‚Ñ2 S. Main Street was arrested on a warrant on a charge of breaking and entering.

Disorderly conduct: James Campana,39, 4823 Westchester Drive, was issued a summons alleging disorderly conduct at apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Checks reported stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road were used at Wal-Mart.

Theft: $39.69 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Two stereos were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges to an account were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Theft: Matt D. Schall, 44, 37 N. Turner Road, Austintown, was arrested in scrap-metal theft at Austintown Metal Works, 45 Victoria Road.

Assault: A woman is a suspect in an assault at a home in the 200 block of S. Raccoon Road.

April 10

Warrant: Caprice Cornwell, 19, 369 Marmion Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for telecommunications harassment at I-76 and state Route 14.

Disorderly conduct: Brian Grandon, 29, 219 Scott Ave., Niles, was issued a summons alleging disorderly conduct at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.

Disorderly conduct: Michelle Childers, 26, 1650 Laurie Drive was issued a summons alleging disorderly conduct at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.

Burglary: A voice recorder was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Timberlane Street.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.

Theft: $24.48 in fuel and $5.30 in cigarettes were taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road by a male suspect.

Warrant: Tiant Bright, 34, 450 Idora Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a felony warrant from Lorain County on an indictment of felonious assault, assault and obstruction of official business at state Route 11 at Mahoning Avenue.

Criminal trespassing: Cody Hilton, 19, 712 Notre Dame Lane, Austintown, was issued a summons alleging criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.

April 11

Passing bad checks: A man is a victim of bad checks at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.

Burglary: Electronic equipment, jewelry, coins and prescription medications were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Purdue Avenue.

Drug offense: Abigail Patek, 20, 2509 Walden Court, Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 20 block of Lexington Place.

Theft: A man is accused of taking the victim’s ATM card at a home in the 2000 block of S. Main Street.
