Fall wedding for Mary Durda, Jacob Hostetler

The engagement and upcoming wedding plans of Mary Diane Durda and Jacob Douglas Hostetler of 171 Dickey Ave. N.W. is being announced by their children, Natasha Anne, Kristan Ellen, Casey Fox and Alexander Thomas.

Miss Durda is the daughter of Mary-Ellen and Wes Pate of Warren and Johnny S. Durda Sr. of Niles. She graduated from the Penn Foster Career School with a degree in wedding and event planning and is the owner of All Your Dreams Event Planning.

Her fianc is the son of Thomas and Aleta Crable of Girard. He is the owner of BocajStudios in Warren and is pursuing a master’s degree in illustration from the Academy of Art University. Mr. Hostetler served as a corporal in the U.S. Army with the Ohio National Guard for 10 years.

The couple will be joined in marriage in an open ceremony at 3:15 p.m. Sept. 11 at Cortland Christian Church, and invitations will be issued for the evening reception at the Garden Brook Banquet Center, both in Cortland.
