Brookfield man remains jailed on federal child-porn charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A Brookfield Township man charged with distributing child pornography over Internet and by mail will remain in the Mahoning County jail until a grand jury hears his case.

Brian J. Radachy, 51, of Warren-Sharon Road, appeared today before a federal magistrate in the Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse on Market Street for a preliminary hearing.

Radachy, under the advice of his attorney Carolyn Kucharski from the U.S. public defenders’ office, waived his right to have a preliminary hearing, allowing the matter to go before a grand jury.
