Free meals for children this summer

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership is sponsoring a summer food-service program for children.

Free meals will be available to children 18 and under and to people over 18 who are determined by a local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled.

MYCAP will sponsor more than 25 feeding sites. Organizations interested in becoming a feeding site can obtain application packets between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the MYCAP main office, 101 E. Federal St., Suite 200.

Organizations chosen to be a summer feeding site must have proof of non-profit status from the Internal Revenue Service. Application packets are due no later than April 30.
