Here’s your chance to get up close and personal – well, somewhat personal – with a llama without trekking to Peru.
Spacey Acres farm near Lowellville has 51 llamas and alpacas that will be on display from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Salem Tractor Supply, 2366 E. State St. There, they’ll help raise money for Relay for Life.

Park cleanup
Buhl Farm Park in Hermitage, Pa., will have its annual cleanup day 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. Just show up at the pool house with gloves and a rake, and you’ll be directed to where you’re needed most.

Crafty stuff
The First Baptist Church of Howland, 8957 E. Market St., has a craft show 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today. It’s too late to show off your own crafts at this event, but you can check out other people’s handiwork.
Young gardeners
It’s never too early to get kids started in the right direction. The Trumbull County Master Gardeners will have a children’s gardening program for kids age 3 to 10 today.
The event is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McKinley Memorial Auditorium on State Street in Niles.
Women’s workshop
Fairview Arts and Outreach Center, 4220 Youngstown-Poland Road, Youngstown, is offering a women’s workshop, ”Free to be Me.” The event will be 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 17, bur today is the deadline to register.
Speakers will discuss stress, mental and emotional well-being, grief and loss, massage therapy and spirituality. There will be a continental breakfast, raffles and prizes and a catered lunch for the event, which will end with music from the workshop sponsor, Lost Then Found Ministries.
