Woman hurt in apparent Pa. road-rage shooting

OAKS, Pa. (AP) — An apparent rush-hour road rage shooting outside Philadelphia has left a woman hospitalized.

Police in Montgomery County say an unidentified woman was airlifted to a Philadelphia hospital after being shot twice this morning. Her injuries do not appear life-threatening.

Authorities say the shooting happened around 7:15 a.m. on Route 422 in Oaks, about 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Police say the woman called 911 to report an erratic driver and then thought she’d been hit by a vehicle. Emergency personnel found her with gunshot wounds to the arm and leg.
