Food pantry donations from Bulldogs
On, Mar. 22, The Bulldog Turf Club donated $817 worth of food to the Poland Inter Faith Food Pantry, housed at the Poland Methodist Church which is sponsored by Poland’s four largest churches, Poland Methodist, Poland Presbyterian, Prince of Peace and Holy Family.
“This is the second time that The Bulldog Turf Club has made a donation to the Food Pantry. The Food Pantry is a great community resource and we are proud to support it,” said Club Chairman Bob Richards, Jr. “We are honored to provide this community service! We will continue our efforts for the Pantry for as long as we can,” he said.
In order to make the donation, members of the Club made personal cash donations. Turf Club members then went shopping, purchased and delivered the much needed food. The Poland Little Bulldogs Youth Football & Cheerleading organization also assisted in the project.
