Celebrating 50 years by rolling back time

Boardman Lanes is celebrating 50 years of business by turning back time and offering games priced at their original 1960 charge.
Located at 7524 Market Street, the alley opened its doors to the public April 6, 1960. It was co-founded by Ed Theis and Dick Wilson, both of which were military service veterans.
This privately-owned business has been family-owned for two generations. It is currently under the management of Ed Theis and Rich Wilson, sons of the co-founders.
Starting Sunday at 6 p.m., bowling will be 50 cents a game and shoe rentals will be 15 cents a pair. These 1960 prices, in celebration of the 50th anniversary, will continue through April 17.
Special prices are only available during open bowling sessions which are Sunday 6 p.m. to close and Monday through April 17 noon to close.
