June wedding for Julie Yanik, Alex Braden

Julie Yanik and Alex Braden, both of 1202 Turnbury St., together with their parents are announcing their engagement and future wedding plans.

Miss Yanik, daughter of Richard and Debra Yanik of 7821 Arthur St., Masury, graduated with a degree in exercise science from Mount Union College and in physical therapist assistanting from Penn State University Shenango Campus in Sharon, Pa. She is a physical therapist assistant at Alliance Community Hospital.

Mr. Braden, son of Scott and Barbara Braden of 5784 Laura Ave., Homeworth, Ohio, is a graduate of Kettering University, where he earned a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and is pursuing a master’s in business administration. He works as a supervisor for American Standard Brands in Salem.

The couple will exchange vows at 3:30 p.m. June 12 at First Christian Church in Alliance. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and for the reception afterward at the Salem Golf Club.
