Police find remains of Pa. girl missing since 1995
WAYNESBORO, Pa. (AP) — Pennsylvania state troopers investigating the slaying of a missing Maryland woman found the remains of a second homicide victim.
State police said today they found the skeletal remains of 17-year-old Angie Lynn Daley of Waynesboro in a wooded area off state Route 16 in Waynecastle, Franklin County, around noon Tuesday.
Daley had been missing since 1995. Her death was ruled a homicide, and police say she died of blunt force trauma.
The discovery came just hours after police discovered the body of 29-year-old Kristy Dawn Hoke, a missing woman from Hagerstown, Md., who had been stabbed to death.
Police have charged 46-year-old Jeffrey Eldon Miles of State Line, Pa., with criminal homicide in Hoke’s killing.
