Brookfield man charged with distributing child porn

YOUNGSTOWN

The FBI has charged a Brookfield Township man with receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet and by mail.

Brian J. Radachy, 51, of Warren-Sharon Road, is charged with receiving and sharing the illegal images of sexual acts involving minors. He is to appear at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday before a federal magistrate in the Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse on Market Street.

Radachy is a registered sex offender with the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department, according to a federal-court affidavit.

The investigation into Radachy began in February when an agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation accessed a set of shared Internet files in California containing hundreds of images of child pornography. The FBI determined the files belonged to Radachy.

According to the affidavit, the images contained photos of boys age 7 and 8 involved in sex acts with adult males and young boys involved in sex acts with other boys.
