Walk With Me event planned at park

Easter Seals has scheduled its 6th annual Walk With Me fundraiser for 9 a.m. April 24 in the renovated community center at Boardman Park.

The event will include 1-mile, 3-K and 5-K fitness walks to be led by children and adults who have benefited from Easter Seals programs and services.

In addition to the walks, there will be a Chinese auction, face painting, pony rides and other family activities. Participants can also take a scenic walk through the park.
