Pa. teen girl punches pregnant teacher
UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Police say they’ll charge a teenage girl who punched a teacher who intervened in a fight between the girl and another student at a southwestern Pennsylvania high school.
Uniontown police say the fight happened March 31 at Uniontown Area High School.
Police say the teacher tried to break up the fight between the two girls and called for a school security officer when the girls kept fighting.
One girl stopped once the officer arrived, but the second girl did not and then struck the teacher.
Police say the teacher’s doctor had her undergo tests to ensure the baby’s health, but did not immediately comment on the results.
Police are not identifying the girl because she will be charged in Fayette County Juvenile Court.
