Ohio trial begins over dismembered wife

CINCINNATI (AP) — A southwest Ohio man is going on trial accused of killing his wife and cutting up her body.

Jury selection was set to begin today in Cincinnati for the murder trial of 31-year-old John Strutz. He reported 28-year-old Kristan Strutz missing from their suburban home last Aug. 15.

Authorities searching their home recovered tissue and bone fragments that were identified as those of the mother of four children. A defense attorney has said Strutz denies the charges against him.
