Cleveland police mistake dead woman for deer
CLEVELAND (AP) — Cleveland police are investigating how officers mistook a woman’s body alongside Interstate 90 for a deer carcass.
The body was found along the highway before dawn Monday after officers sent to the scene called the highway department about a deer carcass. When a crew arrived, they realized it was a woman’s body.
An autopsy has been ordered. The woman was identified by the coroner today as 28-year-old Angel Bradley-Crockett of Cleveland.
