The state Controlling Board approved a $1 million low-interest loan for a company considering an expansion in Trumbull County.
Anderson and DuBose Inc. would commit to creating 50 full-time jobs, paying $16 per hour, plus retaining 94 other positions at risk in Warren.
The company distributes food and supplies to close to 500 McDonald’s restaurants in Ohio and Pennsylvania, providing “frozen meat and fish, dairy products and paper goods and packaging, as well as toys for Happy Meals,” according to documents.
“The company receives and ships in excess of 10 million cases of product across the two states annually.”
Anderson-DuBose employs 160 people at locations in the two states (94 in Ohio and 66 in Pennsylvania).
The project would consolidate the company’s warehouse and distribution operations into one larger location, with 130,000 square feet of space and updated equipment and fixtures, according to documents.
The total project will cost about $25 million.
