Art pottery history to be explored

Sarah Webster Vodrey, director of the Museum of Ceramics in East Liverpool, will speak on “Hidden Beauties: The Art Pottery of East Liverpool,” at a spring dinner planned by Niles Historical Society for April 27 at Ciminero’s Banquet Center, Main Street.

The event will feature a social at 5:30 p.m. followed by the dinner and program at 6. Door prizes will be awarded.

The cost for the evening is $20, and reservations are to be made by April 21. Tickets may be purchased from society members or by calling (330) 544-2143.
