Wedding planned by Melissa Conti and Michael Cox

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Frank and Julia Conti, 1024 Summit St., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Conti, of the same address, and Michael Robert Cox, 35 Rocky Ledge Drive, Struthers.

Parents of the future groom are Richard Cox, 4507 Sheridan Ave., Youngstown, and Marsha and James Fox, 455 Creed St., Struthers.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown has been chosen by the couple for their 2 p.m. wedding on Oct. 9. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for their evening reception at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University at University Park, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Miss Conti is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at Youngstown State University.

Mr. Cox earned an associate degree in criminal justice from YSU and is an officer with the Youngstown Police Department.
