Man charged with domestic violence

Police charged Michael Gordon, 36, of the 200 block of East Boston with domestic violence in an incident at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The victim told police that her son had assaulted her by hitting her in the back of the head and scratching her.

She told police that her son threatened to stab her with a knife if she didn’t take him to the store.

Police found Gordon inside the home, and he told them he was unable to move about because of surgeries. He told police he had no idea what happened.

Both Gordon and his mother were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he was held by St. Elizabeth police.
