Lecture Thursday on 21st century environmental challenges

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown State University professor Lauren Schroeder Ph.D. will present Environmental Issues of the 21st Century at a meeting of the Youngstown Area Chapter of United Nations Association at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Wick Avenue.

The program is free. Schroeder, YSU’s professor emeritus of evolution and ecology, will review past environmental issues and discuss the loss of biodiversity, global climate change, resource depletion, sustainability and population density.
