The Columbiana County Emergency Management Agency will have its annual free SKYWARN training program provided by the National Weather Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Columbiana County Career and Technical Center, 9364 state Route 45.

SKYWARN was developed to co-ordinate efforts between the National Weather Service and communities.

Local residents report wind gusts, hail size, rainfall, and cloud formations that could signal a developing tornado. Interested people should call the EMA at (330) 424-9725 to pre-register.
