The exchange of wedding vows took place at 2 p.m. Oct. 17, 2009, as Sarah Herron, a daughter of Cindy and Dennis Herron of Rockford, Mich., and John Daniel Babyak, son of Shannon and John Babyak, 3945 Albany Court, Canfield, were married in St. Christine Church.

Msgr. David Rhodes officiated at the ceremony, and a reception followed at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield. After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple live in Boardman.

The bride’s ivory gown was enhanced with crystal beading and featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and a semi-cathedral train.

Dark purple gowns were worn by Elizabeth Herron and Jenn Martin, the honor attendants, and Meghan Riley, Aimee Heniser, Michelle Dellorco and Kim Little, bridesmaids. Flower girl was Lauren Dellorco.

Serving as best men were Dan Babyak and Ryan Babyak, and groomsmen were Graham Sabatka, Rory Carney, Julian Petrella and Patrick Herron. Ring bearer was Sean O’Horo.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from Wright State University with a degree in psychology, and summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a master’s in counseling. She is a licensed professional counselor with Belmont Pines Hospital in Youngstown.

The groom is employed by the A.P. O’Horo Co. in Youngstown. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Dayton.
