GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

TUESDAY

Daphne will meet for garden therapy with Judy at Sunrise, followed by lunch at the Olive Garden. Coordinators are Alberta Klepper and Earline Gotthardt.

Ikebana will have two classes of Ichiyo School at 9 a.m. with Shirley Winkler serving as instructor.

WEDNESDAY

Mahoning will have a sack lunch at noon followed by a “Plant It and Leave It” program at Lutz Greenhouse and Gift Shop, 7879 W. Pine Lake Road, Greenford Township. Hostesses are Virginia Hanna and Dorothy Dechicco.

Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown will have a meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Fellows Riverside Garden. Guest speaker will be Rex Luckage. His topic will be “Hanging Container Baskets.” Guests are welcome.

THURSDAY

St. Charles will meet at 7 p.m. for story telling by Barbara Root. Hostesses will be Janet Hershey, Elaine Havonec and Marge Hutcheson.

Sweetbriar will meet for a program on dahlias to be presented by Stan and Linda Vuletich. Hostess will be Sharon Maloney.
