ABWA chapter to sponsor Chinese auction

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association has chosen the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road, as the new site for its annual Chinese auction. Featured will be a wide variety of items for men, women and children,

The auction has been scheduled for April 18, and doors will open at 12:30 p.m. for viewing of the items. Drawings will begin at 3.

Tickets will be available at the door, and the admission donation of $5 includes refreshments and a chance to win a door prize. Awarded will be a first prize of $150, second price of $100, and a third prize of a $50 gas card.

A special raffle table will feature items valued at more than $25, and there will be a lottery table, a raffle for a hat with money, and a 50-50 raffle.

Patrons can also purchase extra tickets for more chances to win gifts and door prizes.

Proceeds from the day’s event will benefit the chapter’s education fund.
