Flash mob dance Tuesday in Sharon


SHARON, PA.

More than 1,000 Sharon School District pupils in grades three to eight will converge on Case Avenue Tuesday for a flash-mob dance.

The district is celebrating the beginning of state assessment tests with a choreographed dance to the Black Eyed Peas’ song “I Got a Feeling.” The theme for the day is “We’ve got a feeling you’re going to like what you see, we’re going to make AYP [Adequate Yearly Progress],” said the school district.

The dance kicks off a week-long series of events to get the students energized for the tests. It will be followed by a pep rally and speech by district Superintendent John Sarandrea. The PSSA tests in reading and math are scheduled from Wednesday until
