Police investigate rape of teen

YOUNGSTOWN — City police are investigating the rape of an 18-year-old city girl.

The South Side teen went out with friends Thursday night and admitted to drinking and smoking marijuana. The girl told police she went to a house near Tod Lane with friends and eventually passed out fully clothed.

The girl told police she was being sexually assaulted when she woke up. She went to the hospital for a rape examination.
