Go golfing and benefit cancer society

Walgreens will host a charity golf scramble May 22 at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:15 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. The cost for the event is $50 a person and includes cart, tee time, breakfast, lunch and all non-alcoholic beverages.

There will be prizes for closest pin on all Par 3s and longest drive on the longest Par 5. Other games, raffle prizes and entry gifts will be available.
