Election costs
LISBON
The May primary will cost Columbiana County more than expected, said Adam Booth, county elections-board director. The Ohio Supreme Court has ordered that Robert Owens of Franklin County can run for state attorney general unopposed as a Constitution Party member. Booth said the county will have to obtain new ballots that will add his name, and the county’s ballot counters will have to be reprogramed to include his candidacy. Booth estimated the changes will cost several thousand dollars.
