More than 50 members and players from the Canfield Baseball Club participated in a clean-up day Mar. 20.

The cleaning event takes place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays until the season kicks off in late April. Members are notified of field assignment for those days via the league’s Web site and e-mail.

“Thanks to our players, parents and sponsors, the Canfield Baseball Club is a great place to play and learn,” said league president Nick D’Alesio.
