Plane reported down at small Ohio airport


MIAMISBURG, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a single-engine plane has crashed at an airport south of Dayton.

Police say the first reports came just before 1 p.m. today from Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport, which primarily serves corporate and personal aircraft. It’s some 12 miles south of Dayton, near the suburban city of Miamisburg.

Authorities say the plane crashed on a runway; it wasn’t immediately clear whether it had been taking off or landing. There was no immediate information on injuries.
