Man killed, 2 Bristolville residents injured in Route 5 crash

RAVENNA

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a Ravenna man was killed and two Bristolville residents seriously injured in a two-car accident on state Route 5 about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Rila Price Jr., 85, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

John F. Kramer, 71, of Bristolville, was taken to Akron City Hospital where he was listed as stable.

A passenger, Anita L. Kramer, 69, also of Bristolville, was stable in Robinson Memorial Hospital, police said.

A third occupant of the Kramer car, Jackson F. Clark, 5, was treated at Akron Children’s Hospital.

Police said Kramer was westbound on Route 5 when Price, headed north on Knapp Road, pulled into his path.
