Orders will be taken for food program

YOUNGSTOWN — Crossroads Church, 554 S. Meridian Road, is taking orders for Angel Food Blessings in a Box.

The Angel Food program is intended to reduce the amount members of the community pay for groceries each month. A box of meats, vegetables, fruit and more, valued at $75, costs $30. There are no income restrictions.

Orders for food will be taken on the following dates:

Saturday 3 - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Oct. 7 - 3 to 6:30 p.m.

Oct. 10 - 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Oct. 12 - 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Cash, money orders or the Ohio Direction Card are accepted. Food will be distributed Oct. 17 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
