Police suspect man in death of father

STEUBENVILLE — An East Liverpool man has been charged with two counts of felony theft and has been brought back to Ohio from Tennessee in the death of his father.
Travis Miller, 27, is in Jefferson County Jail and expected to be arraigned today in District 1 Court in Toronto.
Police believe Miller is connected to the death of his father, Shelby Miller, 56, of East Liverpool.
Shelby Miller’s body was found in a wooded area near a creek near Hammondsville, just south of Columbiana County, on Thursday. He had been shot in the back of the head and was found covered in weeds.
Officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies brought Travis Miller back to Ohio from Tennessee on Sunday afternoon.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said no further information about the investigation was available Sunday night.
