Robbers punch man, steal his wallet, $70

YOUNGSTOWN — A man was punched and robbed in the commons area of apartments at 630 Griffith St. on the city’s North Side, police reported.

The 50-year-old man was approached by two men who hit him and took his wallet at 1:47 p.m. Saturday, he told police.

Minutes later, another man brought the wallet to the victim’s apartment, saying he’d found it lying on the street. It was missing $70, police report.
