Democratic women plan luncheon as fundraiser

WARREN — Trumbull County Federated Democratic Women’s Club finalized plans for an annual fundraiser during the Sept. 8 meeting at Warren SCOPE.

“Democratic Women in Time” was chosen as the theme for the event, which was scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 4 at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre, 123 N. Main St., Niles.

The program for the event will be presented by Carol Starre Kmiecik as first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

In keeping with the luncheon theme, all current women judges, elected officials and officeholders in Trumbull County will be honored. There will also be a Chinese auction and door prizes.

The cost for the luncheon is $18. For tickets, reservations or additional information contact any club member or call Fran Fuchilla at (330) 638-2597.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to help support the Trumbull County Democratic Party, and the club presents a check annually to the party chairman.
