Chapel in park chosen for Shevetz, Phillis wedding

The engagement of Lauren Shevetz and Johnathan Phillis, both of 10768 Seacrist Road, Beloit, and plans for their upcoming marriage are being announced.

The couple have chosen St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park for their 1:30 p.m. Nov. 7 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for a reception at the Links at Firestone Farms, Columbiana.

Martin and Robin Shevetz, 2575 Stewart Road, Lowellville, are parents of the bride-elect. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a transportation engineer with the Ohio Department of Transportation in Akron.

The future groom is a son of Rodney Phillis of Beloit and Elaine Wolfgang of Columbiana. He is a salesman with Bonnie Plant Farm of Homeworth.
