2-car crash injures 4 people in Howland


HOWLAND — A two-car crash sent four people to hospitals with minor injuries Friday evening, according to a press release.

The accident happened at state Route 82 and Howland-Wilson Road.

A car traveling eastbound on state Route 82 tried to turn left onto Howland-Wilson when a second vehicle ran a red light and hit the turning car, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol press release.

The driver of the second vehicle, Christopher Walker, 22, of Sharpsville, Pa., was cited for failure to yield, according to the release.

Walker and the driver and passenger of the first vehicle were transported to St. Joseph Health Center to be treated for minor injuries. A passenger in Walker’s car was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
