Pluchinsky leads South Range to ITCL golf title

POLAND — South Range golfer Brandon Pluchinsky shot a 72 at Reserve Run to earn medalist honors and lead the Raiders to the Inter Tri-County League Tier One title at Wednesday’s league meet.

Pluchinsky shot 39 on the front nine, then scorched the back nine with a 32. Aaron Seidler (76), Ethan Parks (84) and Mike Thorpe (80) also placed for South Range, which finished with a score of 312.

Springfield was second with a 319 and Columbiana third with 324.

Lowellville’s Mauro Amendola shot 75 (36-39) to lead the Rockets to their third straight Tier Two title.

Anthony Alfano and Tyler Vitus both shot 78 for Lowellville and Ray Carlson was in with 80 as the Rockets shot 311.

Western Reserve was second with 333 and Leetonia third with 347.
