Zimmerman-Leis wedding planned at Poland church

LOWELLVILLE — Donald and Carol Zimmerman, of 1746 S. Hubbard Road, are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Rachel Zimmerman, of Grosse Pointe, Mich., and Dan Leis, also of Grosse Pointe.

The prospective groom is the son of Jerry and Jeanne Leis of 99 Northview Drive, Tiffin.

Invitations will welcome guests to the couple’s wedding, which is planned for 3 p.m. Oct. 24 at Poland United Methodist Church. A reception to follow at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard will also be by invitation.

The bride-elect, a graduate of Ohio Northern University in Ada, earned a doctor of pharmacy degree. She is a pharmacist for St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit.

Mr. Leis, also a graduate of Ohio Northern University, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is employed as a tax consultant for Deloitte and Touche in Detroit.
