Austintown Church festival will offer fun for all in fall

AUSTINTOWN — Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road, will host its third annual fall festival from noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 10. Featured will be a Kids Zone with free games and activities for the entire family, and there will be live music and a food concession.

Crafters from all over the area can rent a 12-x-12-foot space for the outdoor craft show.

Among the participating vendors will be Ron Borngesser of Austintown, whose crafts have been created with a patriotic theme.

Another special activity on Oct. 10 will be a classic car show from 1 to 4 p.m. Free registration for the event will be at noon and prizes will be awarded. Entertainment by comedian Don B! will be at 2 and 4:30 p.m.

Families will have the opportunity to check out the pumpkin patch from Oct. 10 to Oct. 17. Hours for visiting will be 1 to 6 p.m. Oct. 10 and 11, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 12 through Oct. 17. Featured will be a wide variety of pumpkins, Indian corn, gourds, cornstalks, straw bales and apples. The low-priced items are from local farms.

Proceeds from the sales will benefit ministries and outreach programs of the church.
