Kiwanis Club events outlined

CANFIELD — Barbara Smith of Girard will be installed as president of the Kiwanis Club of Western Mahoning County at 6 p.m. Sept. 30 at A La Cart Catering, where regular meetings are each Wednesday. Dave Pinney is the outgoing president.

Dianna Mason of the National Alliance on Mental Health was the speaker at the club’s Sept. 23 meeting and Barbara O’Neill of Lake Milton State Park was a recent speaker. Cow patty bingo took place Sept. 20 at Kay Bruss Farm in North Jackson to raise money for the group’s scholarship fund.
