A summary of recent criminal activity in Boardman:

Sept. 17

Identity theft: A Mayflower Drive woman found out her personal information had been used without consent to open a FedEx account and send money orders. She discovered 50 debits to her account totaling $1,676.50, a report said.

Vehicle theft: A 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen in the 200 block of McClurg Road.

Theft: A $900 laptop computer and a cell phone were stolen from a vehicle belonging to an employee of a Boardman-Canfield Road business.

Theft: Two Youngstown females, 17 and 28, were charged after 16 pieces of merchandise were taken from Macy’s in the Southern Park Mall, costing the store more than $800.

Domestic violence/weapon: Police signed a domestic-violence charge on behalf of a woman after responding to a fight near Glenwood Avenue, where she alleged her boyfriend had shoved and later struck her in the head while in a vehicle. He also was charged with mishandling a firearm in a motor vehicle and being in possession of a gun while intoxicated when, authorities said, a firearm with one round in the chamber was found. The man also had threatened to use the weapon to harm himself, a report showed.

Assault: A 23-year-old township man was charged after a Washington Boulevard male reported having been punched in the face and head. A North Lima man, 22, faced one count of obstructing official business, accused of lying about his involvement in the incident.

Theft: A city man, 40, was charged after $554 worth of clothing was stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle: A Maple Drive man said another man used but failed to return the accuser’s 35-square-foot trailer.

Theft: A 29-year-old Struthers woman was charged with stealing a $499 tool kit from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.

Domestic violence/theft: Officers signed a charge of domestic violence for an Indianola Road woman, who alleged a man had grabbed her face and cut part of her nose before taking her van and cell phone.

Burglary: To a residence in the 4800 block of Erie Street via a front window. Stolen were two flat-screen TVs.

Attempted theft: Someone tried to break into a vehicle in the 7400 block of South Avenue.

Burglary: At a home in the 7100 block of Trenholm Road, where $7,000 worth of jewelry was missing.

Criminal trespassing: A woman told police her landlord had entered her Locust Avenue apartment without permission.

Sept. 18

Theft: A 23-year-old Struthers man was charged with stealing four computer games from Wal-Mart.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle at the Southern Park Mall sustained $450 worth of damage after its hood was dented and scratched.

Menacing: Police responded to a vehicular accident near Mill Creek Drive, where a man reported the other driver had threatened to use a walking cane to strike the accuser in the head.

Attempted breaking and entering: Someone tried to enter Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 381 Boardman-Poland Road, through a rear receiving door.

Theft: A $200 AM/FM/compact-disc player was removed from a car in the 2000 block of Wolosyn Circle.

Theft: A woman told officers a male co-worker stole her checks from a Southern Park Mall business.

Sept. 19

Theft: Two women took a pair of glasses from Lens Crafters, 265 Boardman-Canfield Road.

Theft: A picnic table was removed from the back patio of a Lucerne Lane home.

Theft: A male stole a black robe from Party Max, 445 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: A woman, no information given, was charged in the theft of $105 worth of merchandise from Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road.

Theft: A motorist pumped but failed to pay for gasoline before leaving Country Fair Food Store, 7465 South Ave.

Sept. 20

Recovered property: Two bicycles were found next to the side of a garage in the 4200 block of Chester Drive.

Counterfeit: Two phony $100 bills were passed at a Market Street restaurant.

Vandalism: A vehicle sustained damage in the 1300 block of Fox Run Court.

Auto theft: Authorities responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 7300 block of Market Street.

Theft: A man in a black shirt stole items from The Buckle in the Southern Park Mall.

Theft: A purse was taken from a car at a Market Street eatery.

Theft: Property was stolen from a vehicle someone had entered at a Boardman-Poland Road restaurant.

Theft: A man in a dark shirt and ponytail stole merchandise from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.
