BOARDMAN — The Rev. B.J. Willis officiated as Megan Garcia and Bijan Hosseininejad, both of 4876 Woodhurst Drive, Austintown, were married at 4:30 p.m. July 25 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park.

After a reception at The Embassy in Youngstown, the couple left for a honeymoon at Sandals Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. They live at the Austintown address.

Joseph and Karen Garcia, 115 S. Aldrich Road, Austintown, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Ali and Vicky Hosseininejad, 171 Fairmeadow Drive, Austintown.

The bride’s white satin A-line gown featured beaded lace on the tulle overlay and an empire bodice accented with a bow.

Black gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Sarah Garcia of Austintown, and the bridesmaids, Heather Smail and Carly Rivera, both of Austintown.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Justin Hosseininejad of Austintown, and the groomsmen, Brian Hosseininejad of Austintown, a brother of the groom, and Bryan Gall of Youngstown.

A graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in early childhood education, the bride is a teacher with the Operation Learning Community Program in Youngstown.

The groom is a systems engineer with Babcock and Wilcox Co. in Barbertown. He graduated from YSU with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering.
