CANFIELD

Sept. 14

Drug paraphernalia: A 29-year-old Lake Milton man was arrested for possessing and concealing drug paraphernalia at North Broad Street and Village Boulevard.

Sept. 17

Drug charges, carrying a concealed weapon: Police arrested a 45-year-old Canfield man on charges of drug abuse, drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon.

AUSTINTOWN

Sept. 14

Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Billy’s Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road.

Identity fraud: A resident of the 3000 block of Nassau Court reported she received two notices demanding payment to a Wal-Mart in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and learned a checking account has been set up using all of her personal information at a Banc One in Columbus.

Theft: A Dell Inspiron laptop was reported stolen at Bits, Bytes and Pieces, 5462 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed on a vehicle at Briarfield at Ashley Circle, 5291 Ashley Circle.

Breaking and entering: A garage was broken into in the 1000 block of Carnegie Avenue and a cell phone and GPS stolen.

Breaking and entering: Money was stolen out of a vehicle in an unattached garage at a home in the 200 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft: A man was arrested on 10 warrants for theft by deception at South Meridian Road and Canfield Road.

Theft: A DVD player and miscellaneous change were stolen from an auto at a home in the 200 block of North Beverly Avenue.

Theft: A phone was stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive.

Burglary: A Yamaha four-wheeler and a Suzuki dirt bike were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Rebecca Avenue.

Theft: Women’s jewelry was stolen from a dresser at a home in the 1000 block of Fairmeadow Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: A man reported he had received numerous hang-up calls from his ex-girlfriend on his cell phone at a home in the 80 block of North Main Street.

Theft: A man in his forties short-changed the register at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Boulevard.

Sept. 15

Theft: Two women were arrested for theft at Payless Shoes, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A washer and dryer were stolen from a home in the 70 block of North Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: A computer was dropped off for repair and never returned at Bits, Bytes and Pieces, 5462 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A computer was serviced at Bits, Bytes and Pieces and a memory card was stolen.

Theft: A Kodak camera was stolen at a home in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Misuse of credit card: A male suspect made charges to a business account at Boak and Sons, 75 Victoria Road.

Burglary: A computer was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Sept. 16

Breaking and entering: Shingles were stolen at Re-Nu Roofing, 166 S. Meridian Road.

Aggravated menacing: A man reported his neighbor threatened to shoot his dogs and him if he didn’t shut his dogs up in the 5000 block of North Beacon Drive.

Fraud: Unaccounted for charges were made to a cellular account at a home in the 3000 block of Robert Frost Drive.

Criminal damaging: A man drove his vehicle into a garage door at Midas, 4428 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the parking lot at Wal-Mart.

Aggravated menacing A man was thrown out of O’Donold’s, Mahoning Avenue, for threatening another man.

Telecommunications harassment: An unknown caller was making harassing phone calls to a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Criminal damaging: The tailgate on a vehicle was spray-painted at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Telecommunications harassment: A man was accused of making harassing calls at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: A laptop was taken at Bits, Bytes and Pieces.

Burglary: At a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Sept. 17

Arrest: A man was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Criminal damaging: A fence was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.

Theft: Three GPS systems were stolen from cars at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: A window was pried open but nothing was taken at the Hampton Inn.

Lost or stolen plates: Two dealer plates were lost or stolen at an unknown location.

Theft: A flute was taken from the band room at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: A wallet and its contents were taken from an auto at a home in the 2000 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: Medication was taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Burglary: A Craftsman air compressor was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Wendover Circle.

Theft: A Pioneer CD player was taken from an auto at R&R Mack, 44 Victoria Road.

Sept. 18

Burglary: A residence was entered but nothing was taken in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Recovered property: A purse was recovered at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Impersonating a police officer: A man is a suspect in impersonating a police officer at the I-76 Spa, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Bad check: A check for $110 was written to Karl’s Beauty Supply, 4413 Mahoning Ave. The check came back “account not found.”

Breaking and entering: A detached garage was entered and stolen were tools, a welder and a compressor at a home in the 4000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested for possession of marijuana at a home in the 3000 block of Inglewood Avenue.

Dangerous drugs: A woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs at state Route 46 and Interstate 80.

Criminal damaging: Light bulbs were damaged at the chapel at the 911 Memorial Park, 1055 S. Raccoon Road.

Sept. 19

Theft: $28 in fuel was taken at McQuaid’s, 702 N. Meridian Road.

Criminal trespassing: A man was arrested for trespassing at Denny’s Restaurant, 4927 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: An unknown caller was making harassing calls at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A GPS was taken from an auto at the Country Inn Suites, 5570 Interstate Boulevard.

Theft: A car stereo was taken from a vehicle at the Country Inn Suites.

Theft: A laptop computer, projector and a clock were stolen and a window smashed out of an auto at the Country Inn Suites.

Theft: Newspapers were stolen from Save-A-Step, 4825 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Kenwood in-dash CD player was stolen and there was damage to the dashboard at a home in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.

Theft: A Kenwood in-dash stereo was stolen from a vehicle and the door window was broken out at Austintown Auto Sales, 5275 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was spray-painted in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.

Attempted theft: A dashboard and glovebox were damaged on a vehicle at apartments in the 1000 block of Fountain Square Apartments.

Criminal damaging: A windshield was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Criminal damaging: A windshield and a side window were broken out in front of a home in the 3000 block of Cannon Road.

Criminal damaging: A side window was broken out on a vehicle in the parking lot at Four Seasons, 4180 New Road.

Theft: Drugs were stolen from an auto at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Attempted auto theft: A steering column was peeled in an attempt to steal the vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: A customer short-changed the clerk at Beverage Depot, 6300 Mahoning Ave.

Sept. 20

Menacing: A man is accused of menacing at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Theft: A computer was stolen at Briarfield at Ashley, 461 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Recovered property: A diaper bag with a ladies’ wallet in it was recovered at Austintown Auto Spa, 5556 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a mailbox and post was reported at a home in the 1000 block of County Line Road.

Theft: Auto-care products were stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road.

Theft: Tires and rims were stolen at an apartment in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
