PITTSBURGH, Pa, — Amanda Stuber and James Benninger, both of Gilbert, Ariz., exchanged nuptial vows on July 18 in the presence of the Rev. Naos McCool as they were united in marriage in a 3 p.m. ceremony that took place at the Duquesne University Chapel.

The daughter of Ron and Ann Stuber of Poland, and son of Linda Powley of Clarks Mills, Pa., accepted congratulations during a reception aboard the Gateway Clipper fleet Empress before leaving for a honeymoon in St. Lucia. They live in Gilbert.

A strapless satin and lace gown was worn by the bride.

Jennifer Stuber, the bride’s sister, and Neela Bhajandas, the groom’s sister-in-law, served as honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Katie Chambers, Cecilia Chicone, Crystal Chicone, Natalie Crescenze, Shannon Summers, and Gretchen Tong.

The duties of best man were shared by Jesse Steffan and Nathan Benninger, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Matthew Botti, Drew Kinner, Christopher Murphy, Travis Marsteller, Jeff Thomas, and Anthony Wiseman.

The bride and groom are employed as pharmacists with Walgreens in Phoenix, Ariz. Both graduated from Duquesne University with degrees in pharmacy.

He served six years with the Klo Company, 3rd Battalion, 25th Marines in Moundsville, W.Va., and served a tour of duty in Iraq in 2005.
