PALO Creative to be agency for Shepherd Event Center

LEETONIA — PALO Creative of Leetonia has been named agency of record for Boardman-based Shepherd Event Center. PALO will be responsible for developing corporate communication initiatives for the center, which is located within Shepherd Self-Storage in Boardman. The center has 40,000 square feet of heated and cooled indoor exhibit space, combined with more than three acres of available outdoor space.

Ribbon-cutting event set for OTN/Swinglab

NILES — The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and owner Jim Devine will have a ribbon-cutting event at 10 a.m. Tuesday for OTN/Swinglab, which is inside the dome of the Eastwood Expo Center at the Eastwood Mall Complex.

OTN is a 12,000-square-foot facility with a fully turfed infield, video cameras that can help analyze swing and pitch mechanics, and instructors for baseball and softball.

In the summer of 2000, Devine started a small operation on East Market Street in Warren called Swinglab. Last fall, Devine and Andy Rathmann-Noonan formed an entity known as OTN or One Thru Nine Performance.
