East Palestine’s first Harvest Fest is Saturday

EAST PALESTINE — The city will sponsor its first Harvest Fest on Saturday at East Palestine City Park.

Activities will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude with fireworks at dusk. The event will feature games, bounces and lots of food. Music will be provided by the Figley Family Band, Livid, Traci Patterson and the Hip Replacements.

An NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition also will take place in conjunction with the Harvest Fest. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. The competition is open to children ages 8 to 15 as of Dec. 31. Each participant must have a birth certificate or religious document to show proof of age, complete an entry form and have a parental release.
