Warren G. Harding band night set for Monday

WARREN — Warren G. Harding High School Band Boosters have set a new date for band night and dedication of the remainder of the band shell. The new band night date is 7:30 p.m. Monday at Mollenkopf Stadium.

The original band night was postponed due to inclement weather.

Besides the Raider Marching Band, these five high school bands are scheduled to perform — Mathews, Lakeview, Brookfield, Niles and Champion.

There also will be the dedication and renaming of the band shell to the Robert E. Fleming Band Shell. Fleming was director of the Harding band in the 1950s and ’60s, and then at Youngstown State University, Hiram College, and the W.D. Packard Band.

Admission is $5 for adults; $3 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at the gate.
