SECOND HARVEST Produce distribution

Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, which provides food to hunger-relief organizations in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, will distribute fresh produce this week at these locations and times:

Tuesday: 10 a.m., Salvation Army, 1501 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown; 2 p.m., Mount Olive Baptist Church, 8148 Ulp St., Masury.

Thursday: 10 a.m., Greater Youngstown Point, 1555 Belmont Ave., Youngstown.

Saturday: 10 a.m., Three Loaves Pantry, Riley’s Methodist Church, 10510 Avon Road, Salineville; 1 p.m., Lisbon United Methodist Church, 114 E. Washington St., Lisbon.

Produce source: The produce is made available through the Agricultural Clearance Program, which leverages funds to procure surplus production of fresh fruits and vegetables from Ohio farmers. The program is funded through the state.
